After reading the princess article, I have some young relatives that can totally relate to this. They seem to drag out this princess attitude a little too long just like the article states. These relatives of mine will discover reality a lot sooner than they expect and will have to get out of their princess phase very quickly. When these children were growing up, they were big fans of the movies: Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. When we all met up for family gatherings, all they wanted to watch and talk about were these movies. The parents of these kids bought them shirts and other kinds of clothing and items that resembled things from these movies. Parents are spending loads of money on items for their children and in the end they are flat out spoiling them. When children get this type of treatment, they have to feel like they are on top of the world and they can’t do anything wrong. This behavior isn’t tolerated because like I said earlier they will hit reality quick and that type of behavior will not work. When they hit reality, they will be just like any other person so them being a so called princess is over. My main point of this blog post is to explain how parents spoil these kids for no reason. Yes I know kids love being princesses but what does it help? Kids will think they are all that but once they hit reality they won’t be the “princess” anymore.
